There are a variety of other scholarships websites that allow you to search based off certain criteria. Apply to as many scholarships as you can and never limit yourself becasue you think you are not good enough. Millions of dollars in scholarship money go unclaimed every year!
The KEES program provides scholarships to students who earn at least a 2.5 GPA each year of attendance at a certified Kentucky high school. The better you do in high school, the more KEES money you can earn. You can also earn an ACT bonus award for your highest score if you score at least a 15 on the ACT. If you are eligible for free and reduced lunch, you can earn additional KEES money for qualifying AP exam scores. Your GPA resets each year, so you can earn KEES money each year of high school.

The Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship helps students that have not yet earned an associate's degree afford an industry-recognized certificate or diploma. This scholarship is considered a last dollar scholarship. This means this scholarship will pay any other tuition expenses to fill the gap after aid has been awarded. If a student does not qualify for aid from the FAFSA, they can still use a Work Ready Scholarship to pay for the expenses.
The student can only use a Work Ready Scholarship to in an approved area of study which includes:
Healthcare
Advanced Manufacturing
Transportation/Logistics
Business Services/IT
Construction

The Metro College Program pays full tuition to the University of Louisville or Jefferson Community and Technical College (JCTC). You will also receive a paid regular wage from UPS in addition to the tuition money. You will be working at UPS Worldport in Louisville, KY. In order to participate in this program you must have both a cumulative 3.0 high school GPA or greater and a 21 or greater ACT composite score. The Earn and Learn Program allows students to earn up to $5,250 per calendar year in tuition assistance by working part-time at an approved UPS site, not just Worldport in Louisville, KY. You could work at district UPS sites in Louisville Centennial, Bluegrass, or Clarksville. The money can be used for tuition, books, and fees with a lifetime maximum of $25,000. Kentucky has college benefits for students that were in foster care and/or adopted. Listed below are some of the benefits, but you can access them all HERE and steps to take to attain the benefit.
Tuition Waiver
Waives the cost of tuition and mandatory fees at any KY public college or university.
Student must be in foster care on their 18th birthday or adopted from state care. Must have completed a high school diploma or GED.
Education Assistance
Assists with expenses for completing vocational and/or college/university program not covered by Tuition Waiver or Financial Aid.
Committed foster care youth who live in a college dorm or completing trade/vocational school not offered in Kentucky
Healthcare Benefits
Eligible to maintain Medicaid until 26 years old.
Youth who are in foster care on their eighteenth birthday
Chapter 35 DEA
Pays a monthly stipend directly to the student
Eligibility: Veteran's death or permanent and total disability as a result of military service
Chapter 33 Post 9/11 GI Bill Transfer of Entitlement
Dependent may use benefit in approved programs of education to include housing, books, and tuition.
