Hello, Parents and Students,
Where did January go?
Our spring semester is underway, and dual credit courses have started. Ask your students how their classes are going and encourage them to reach out if they need help. This month, I will work with your students to set their KHEAA Dual Credit and/or Work Ready Scholarship Preferences for the dual credit courses they are taking.
Just a friendly reminder: students in grades 9-12 receive two Work Ready scholarships each year to pay for Career and Technical Education courses, and grades 11-12 receive two Dual Credit scholarships each year to pay for General Education courses. Please remember that the KHEAA Scholarships only pays for the college course and that some courses may have digital content fees and/or books that the student will be responsible for covering the cost.
Thank you,
Mrs. Rickard
