♥️🥰😻 February is the Month of Love and Learning! ♥️🥰😻
Dear Parents and Students,
February is an exciting month packed with engaging lessons and hands-on projects across all subjects! Here’s what your students will be diving into this month:
Physical Science: Students will explore the Periodic Table by creating a town that highlights its history, periodic trends, and the table as a whole. They’ll also continue their boat projects, adding sails, and making strides toward building a drone.
Spanish: Students will work toward mastering reflexive verbs, numbers, and vocabulary related to vacations, laying the foundation for practical language use.
Health/Medical Terminology: Focus areas include safety, mental and emotional health, self-esteem, medical pathology terms, diagnostic terms, and healthcare industry vocabulary. Students will also participate in PE activities like yoga, organized sports, and bodyweight exercises. Please ensure they bring tennis shoes and appropriate attire on health days (mostly Thursdays).
Advanced Math: Students will delve deeper into right triangle trigonometry, the law of sines, and the law of cosines, reinforcing their mastery of geometric principles.
Biology: Students will present collegiate research posters on genetic mutations before transitioning into heredity topics, such as laws of inheritance and non-Mendelian inheritance.
U.S. History: Students will master imperialism and the Great War and begin studying World War II, covering topics like the New Deal, America's entry into the war, 1920s society, and turning points in the Pacific.
World History: Students will finish exploring nationalism and industrialism and embark on imperialism and the Great War, with topics including India under British rule, modern Japan’s rise, and imperialism in Africa.
We look forward to seeing your students thrive this February as they explore these fascinating topics and grow their skills. Let’s make it a great month!
Warmest regards,
