Below you will find countless links and descriptions to scholarships that can help you cover some or all of the cost of college. If you are a Senior, check your email regularly for announcements about scholarships and be sure to plan your time carefully so that you can complete the scholarship application thoughtfully.

Submit an online written response to the question:

"Not every gift has to be expensive or extravagant. In fact, sometimes it's the sweet and simple things that make a real difference in our lives. Think back and tell us about something you received as a gift and why it meant so much to you." (250 words or less)

The Sweet and Simple Scholarship winner will be notified by email or phone on or around May 28 2021.

The Marion Luckers Kidney Foundation is offering a scholarship to high school graduating seniors.

High School Eligibility Requirements

  • Graduating high school senior 2022

  • Current or past kidney disease patient or must have a family member/close friend that has been impacted by the disease.

  • Attending college or vocational school fall 2022

  • Open to residents living in Philadelphia, Bucks, Delaware, and Montgomery County

  • Scholarship amount $500

The women of Alpha Alpha Omicron Zeta Chapter will be offering non-renewable academic scholarship awards of $1,920.00, to selected high school senior females who are residents of, or attend a high school in our service area of Northeast Philadelphia, or Bucks County, PA., who have been accepted into a four (4) year college/university. The completed application packet, along with the required documents should be submitted NO LATER THAN Thursday, March 31, 2022.


Qualifying criteria include students:

- Female HS Seniors who reside in, or attend high school in Northeast Philadelphia or Bucks County, PA.

-who have been accepted into a four (4) year college/university

-with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0.

-that demonstrate leadership through extra-curricular activities

-who submit a completed application by the due date

The Benjamin and Fredora K. Wolf Memorial Foundation provides college scholarships to Philadelphia high school graduates starting in their freshmen year and renewable annually until graduation. Our focus is low-income, first-generation scholars. Our scholarships for the 2022-2023 school year will be $1,750 each.The scholarship is open to all Philadelphia School District college bound seniors with preference given to graduates of Philadelphia citywide, neighborhood and charter high schools.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a Philadelphia School District high school or charter high school.

  • Philadelphia city resident.

  • Expected Family Contribution (EFC) less than $1,000.

  • Neither parent/guardian attended college.

  • Took high-school algebra and received minimum grade C.

  • Unconditional acceptance to an accredited college/university as full-time student.

  • Full completion of our application and submission of supporting documents

  • Deadline: May 8, 2022.

CGCS-Bernard Harris Math and Science Scholarships

Below is the announcement for the 2022 CGCS-Bernard Harris Math and Science Scholarships. The scholarships are designed specifically for African American and Hispanic graduating seniors this spring in Council school districts who plan to pursue college studies in one of the STEM-related fields. The deadline to apply is May 6, 2022.
