Welcome to the 2017-2018 8th Grade Social Studies page!

We are extremely excited about what this year has in store for our BUGS historians. Currently, we are in the middle of our unit on Civil Rights.

Students have a weekly homework assignment where they are researching current events and writing a three-paragraph response to that article. This assignment is due on Thursday (for Vassar) or Friday (for Columbia, Pace, and Marist).

On occasion, students may have other assignments to complete at home. Current Events will be assigned every week unless we tell students otherwise.
