What is ADHD?
Although ADHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, there is a preference nowadays to call it "difference" since it suggests there is nothing wrong with the person but a different way of thinking and behaving.
Indicators
Hyperactivity (or difficulty in staying still and keeping focus).
Inattention (or difficulty in sustaining attention).
Impulsivity (or difficulty in controlling impulses).
Students under this condition may:
Make careless mistakes in their work.
Be easily distracted from tasks.
Not follow instructions and not finish work.
Avoid tasks that require focus and concentration.
Why Fodey for students with ADHD?
Students with ADHD are creative and tend to shout out loudly when the lesson is boring, but, at the same time, they can be very positive when they are enjoying an activity. They can use their natural energy and creativity in activities involving writing.
Working on computer programmes like Fodey allows them to do short, quick activities with instant responses.
