AP Government is an accelerated, college-level class that will allow students to explore the foundations of US Government, the institutions of US Government, political behavior of citizens, and the development of public policy. Students will learn how the federal, state, and local government affect them personally, as well as how they affect the government. Topics covered include the Constitution, Bill of Rights, federalism, Congress, the three branches of government, political parties, interest groups, and domestic, economic, and foreign public policy.
