I love art, music, and languages.
Before becoming an English teacher, I had travelled to many places around the world, from Japan to Tromsø (a city near the Arctic Circle ❄️), and had immersed myself in different cultures. I believe the best way to learn a new language is to experience it and make it part of your daily life. Languages are very much shaped by history and culture, so understanding their roots is essential. I hope you immerse yourself as much as possible, use English every day, explore its culture, and avoid relying on direct translation from Chinese.
Please stay curious and don’t be afraid to make mistakes. They are just proof that you are trying something new. Keep asking questions, and never stop exploring. Whether it’s art, music, or learning English, mix it up and make it fun! Learning should never be boring; it’s like gardening—you plant seeds, nurture growth, and enjoy watching your knowledge blossom.
Feel free to talk to me in English! :)
