Hot Air Balloon Educational Program (School Campus)
Grades: 1–12
Length of Program: 2-3 hours or 1/2 day
Description:
Educational program about hot air balloons and ballooning. Including how they work, history of ballooning, science behind how it works, FAA rules requirements and regulations. Topics are adjusted to particular grade levels and aptitudes. Followed by a static inflation of the balloon outside if the weather permits or indoor balloon walk if the weather does not allow for a hot inflation outside The indoor balloon walk takes place in the gymnasium where the students can walk inside of the balloon and see the inner workings.
