Description:
Children of all ages will delight in this charming opera that begins in a circus and follows a serpent as he travels the world to find his voice. After trying many different singing styles including rock and roll, jazz and opera, Sid the Serpent realizes his best singing is with his own unique style. He returns to the circus to realize his dream and share his voice with audiences. The music is very tuneful with several sections where the student audience will want to join in singing. (Materials and a study guide will be sent to each school in advance).
Sid the Serpent Who Wanted to Sing is an opera written by composer Malcolm Fox
