Description:
Are your students learning to play recorders in music class? Help them learn about the incredible history of the instrument and all the amazing things recorders can do with professional recorder player and teacher Teresa Deskur! Your students will take a trip back in time to learn about the earliest recorders, and see how it has changed on its long journey from the Middle Ages to the elementary school classroom. Students will hear music from the Renaissance to Mozart to the Beatles, on recorders of all shapes and sizes! This program is interactive, and a fun way to begin or end any elementary recorder unit. Teresa has taught recorder to students from 6 to 85, and has degrees in Music Education and performance.
