The HOS, the PYPC and the EYC are trained IB educators, the former being an IBEN , and believe in the philosophy of the program. They are both academic leaders.

Strategies/Actions:
The school community has access to a shared drive for storing and sharing policies. As a branch of Silver Oaks International School (established 2010, IB PYP), existing policies are reviewed by the leadership team with teachers and updated as needed.

B 1.5a: The school has developed and implements a language policy that is consistent with IB expectations.
Strategies/Actions:
The language policy of the school is deep rooted in the mission, vision & the philosophy of the school & IB standard & practices & philosophy.
The policy is reviewed periodically. The three language policy is mentioned in the language policy. Apart from English, students are learning in 2nd Lang (Telugu/Hindi) , 3rd Lang(Hindi/Telugu) G1 upward as a part of national language policy.
Spanish is taught as an additional language from G1 to expose the students to various languages.

Strategies/Actions:
At Silver Oaks Schools, our policies align with our vision, mission, and IB philosophy. Our assessment policy reflects IB standards, outlining responsibilities, resources, and best practices for fair and valid assessments. It emphasises that assessments guide teaching and learning, helping students improve and teachers enhance their instruction, thereby strengthening the program's effectiveness.

B 1.6: The school has systems in place for the continuity and ongoing development of the programme(s).
Strategies/Actions:
The school has a well opted organisation structure with clear job descriptions. All the learning spaces like, library, science labs, math lab, ICT lab, music room, dance room, art room, sports facilities are ready. The Resource allocation for all these spaces have been approved by the Governing body and has been added in the budget and school strategic plan.
