Involvement in the arts is associated with gains in math, reading, cognitive ability, critical thinking, and verbal skill. Arts learning can also improve motivation, concentration, confidence, and teamwork.

Wish List

I often have parents wondering if we could use yarn, fabric, plastic containers, etc. in the art room...the answer is usually "YES!" I love to recycle whenever possible, and students get a big kick out of discovering new and inventive ways to create art out of unique, found objects. To help streamline the donation process, I have put together a list of the donation items that I know we will put to good use. If you come across something that you think may be worth donating but you're completely sure, please e-mail me to double check before bringing it to school.
