Part 1: Listening Exercise
Watch the Screencast Video. Listen to the examples that Ms. Ott sings, look at the music provided, and choose which one you hear. (More detailed instructions are in the video.)
Part 2: Solfege/Sight Singing Practice
8th gr. Flipgrid | 7th gr. Flipgrid | 6th gr. Flipgrid
Follow the Hand: Practice singing along to the video as Ms. Ott shows different solfege hand signs.
Mystery Tune: Practice singing along to the video. Listen carefully and see if you can figure out what well-known song is being shown!
Once you've practiced singing, video record yourself using Flipgrid. *Include a note in your video with your answers to the Listening Exercises in Part 1 of this week's assignment, and to the Mystery Tunes.*
Part 3: Chorus Activity Log
Keep track of what Chorus-related activities you're doing each day by keeping a Log. Please go to Unified Classroom to complete this assignment. There you will find the spreadsheet that you can edit.
