This week's song is What a Wonderful World by the legend Louis Armstrong. When you listen to the recording on this page you'll hear him talking to the point that maybe the world isn't so wonderful. And right now maybe it's not. Though you will also hear him reframe it, "All I'm saying is see what a wonderful world it would be if only we'd give it a chance!...Love. That's the secret."
The corona virus and having school online have given us a pause. Our busy schedules are gone and we're left to make our own. In this pause we can feel lost, confused, and tense. That's ok. It can also give us time to notice ourselves and those around us. Your showing your natural ability to accept this pause by describing on FlipGrid how you are giving love to your cherished grandparents, your families and your pets. It's so cool how natural you are at this! It's not always easy for adults.
As you move through your week, as you play this tune, and as we observe something were drawn to let's wonder just what love means and how this makes the world just a little more wonderful.
Since I can't see you I am really loving FlipGrid. I hope you do too. This weeks FlipGrid posting is all about the beings you've mentioned that your supporting and thankful for. Here's options of what you can share. Just pick 1. Options: 1) A story your grandparents or someone in your family told you that made you laugh or feel happy, 2) A video of your pet doing something funny or showing love, 3) Something else that you've found that is making this world a little more wonderful for you.
