Girls tennis player, Caitlyn DeWitt, capped off her senior year by qualifying for the OHSAA Girls Tennis Championships in Wooster, Ohio back in October. Through her four years, Caitlyn also set the record for career wins by a girls tennis player with setting the mark at 91.
Kate Thormeier finished her season at the OHSAA Cross Country meet for the third time in her four years! Kate finished 91st with a time of 20:12.40. Kate ends her XC career as the fastest girl in school history with a 18:20.54 for 3.1 miles.
Braydon Buchanan punched his first ticket to the OHSAA State Cross Country meet this past fall. Braydon ran a 16:30.33 and finished in 88th place at the meet.

The 8th grade football team won the NWOAL JH Football title for back-to-back seasons! The team finished a perfect 8-0 on the season. Great season, Golden Bears!
The boys cross country team also won the NWOAL Meet this year at Swanton. 8th grader, John Deitemeyer, won the league meet to pace the boys.
On October 29, we held our winter sports meeting with parents. Before parents met with coaches, we had two professionals from Parkview Sports Medicine speak to the parents about food & nutrition and approaching sports with a growth mindset. We appreciate them coming out to talk to parents to better prepare our athlete's to prepare their bodies and minds for the upcoming sports season! The links to their presentations can be found below.
Sami Main discussed how athletes should be eating to better treat their bodies during competition. She spoke about a plan for game days along with during the offseason to get the most out of their workouts, practices, and on a daily basis.
Lauren Tait presenting on "Peak Performance" talking about the difference between the growth mindset vs a fixed mindset along with ways to handle adversity.
