We would like to welcome our new varsity volleyball coach, Chelsea Cordy! Coach Cordy is a kindergarten teacher at Bryan Elementary and has been coaching in the junior high for the last two years.
Mr. Keel, Bryan Athletic Director, had this to say about Coach Cordy: “We chose Chelsea because we saw the enthusiasm that she had. She’s coached in our programs at our junior high before, she’s helped create our youth program, and the vision that she has in the program from fourth grade to 12th grade aligned with what we were looking for in a head coach.”
Our Bryan Parks and Rec Department does a fantastic job maintaining the nicest fields in Northwest Ohio, but even with the three inches of snow and colder temperatures, it has been hard to get out on Field 5 & Sumpter Field.
Our softball team was able to use the turf to hold their scrimmage against Anthony Wayne. Thank you to the players, coaches, and officals for their flexibility!
Wednesday, April 19 at 2:15pm, the Bryan Athletic Department will be hosting our athletic signing day. This will be a time to recognize our athletes that are moving on to the college level to compete and attend school and for the families to say a few words about their child if they choose!
Seen above is girls soccer player, Macy Burton, and girls bowler, Ashley Grymonprez, signing their letters of intent to extend their athletic & academic careers. Macy will be going to the University of Michigan-Dearborn and Ashley will be going to Defiance College.
