Greetings and Happy New Year to all of the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade families and friends. I hope this message finds you refreshed, recharged, and ready to begin 2025 with renewed energy and excitement. January marks a time for fresh starts, and we’re eager to continue supporting our students as they grow academically, socially, and emotionally in the months ahead.
As we move into the second half of the school year, our focus remains on fostering a love of learning, building a strong sense of community, and celebrating the progress of every child. Thank you for your continued partnership in making our school a place where all students can thrive. I encourage you to talk with your child about their goals for the new year and celebrate the milestones they’re achieving, big or small.

Sarah Schott, a Wildlife Communications Specialist from the Ohio Division of Wildlife, delivered an engaging interactive presentation to all fourth-grade students. During the presentation, students had the opportunity to participate by adding or removing wildlife, trees, and the Great Black Swamp as the story unfolded, highlighting Ohio’s wildlife history spanning the past 300 years.

The Special Ed Classrooms are again participating in Special Olympics Bowling on Mondays through the months of January and February. Mrs. Valderas has some top notch bowlers in her classroom!
