The year has continued to fly by for the BCS Bands. 

The Fifth Grade Band students made their concert debut on November 19. 

The Eighth Grade and HS Bands survived a frigid Santa Arrival Parade on November 29. 

A huge thank you to the Bryan Kiwanis for supplying tickets to our Band, Choir, and Orchestra students for the Toledo Symphony Orchestra Concert at St. Pat's in Bryan. This was such an amazing learning experience for the students. The students did a wonderful job helping to load and unload the equipment before and after the concert.

The HS Band also survived a frigid performance at the Christkindl Market on December 6.  Students from the 7-12 bands will be performing at the Christkindl Market again on December 19. 

Several of our students performed at the Defiance TubaChristmas on December 7 – check out some of the performances – and a handful of students performed for the Williams County Retired Teachers Association on December 10. 

Macy Xie, Grason Butler, Jacob Burnett,Theodore Luthy, Mya Moore, Nate Root, and Lee Sizemore were all selected for the OMEA District 1 HS and MS Honors Bands. Macy earned first chair via her audition, this is a huge accomplishment for her. 

Numerous students are hard at work getting ready for Solo and Ensemble Contest.
