Read and think about texts.
Here are some great questions to ask:
▪ What lesson can you learn from this text?
▪ What happened at the beginning, middle, and end of the story?
▪ How does (character) change throughout the story?
▪ Who is telling this story? How do you know?
▪ What does (character/narrator/author) think of (event/action)?
▪ What evidence in the text proves _______?
▪ What is the main idea of the paragraph or passage? What details tell more about that idea?
▪ What does this word or phrase mean? How do you know?
Addition and subtraction of three digit numbers with regrouping
Basic multiplication and division facts with understanding of what it means to multiply and divide.
Recognize simple equivalent fractions (halves, thirds, fourths, sixths, eighths)
Compare fractions with the same numerator or same denominator (<, >, =)
