Mentally knowing addition and subtraction facts up to sums of 10 (vertical and horizontal)
Addition and subtraction with one digit and simple two-digit numbers (vertical and horizontal)
Tell time to the hour and half-hour on an analog clock
Recognize trick words in a variety of texts and fonts.
Spell trick words and use them in sentences.
Practice reading and read a lot of everything! Try to figure out who is telling the story or what kind of text it is. (story or informational)
