Mastery Expectations
Certain steps of the project must be completed to move forward during the Capstone Project.
Prior to sitting for the in-class writing of the research paper, the annotated bibliography and the full outline must be submitted to the teacher on it's due date.
All components must be completed by December for semester courses - completed by March for yearlong courses, to be able to present locally in the spring. Failure to complete all components will result in removal from BRVGS.
There is a late work policy for most of the required elements of the Senior Capstone Project. Typically, students will lose 1 (one) point per day from that section of the Senior Capstone grade rubric for each day late. After 3 days, the student will be referred to the BRVGS Director for probation (first offense) or dismissal (repeatedly late assignments).
