BRVGS Senior CAPSTONE

Welcome to the Senior Resource Site for your BRVGS Capstone Project, in which you will study a topic of your choice through hands-on participation, service and research.
Your topic should be something you are passionate about, and must be significant such that your research, your professional learning experience, and your community service have a major impact on you and your community. Rising seniors will meet with the Director and their Senior Advisor in May to get an overview of the process prior to their senior year.
The Senior Capstone Project is designed to give you the opportunity to learn and practice skills for post-high school experiences such as:
Deciding on a specific, individualized subject of study
Contacting, meeting, and working with experts in your field of study
Management of due dates and multiple tasks
Professional communication and presentation skills
A couple of important points for students and parents to remember:
Students are responsible for following all guidelines and expectations as stated on this site, in the handbook, and on rubrics. Senior Advisors will offer advice and guidance as needed, but the BRVGS Senior Capstone Project is designed for student self management.
Students should contact their Senior Advisor with any questions about their BRVGS Senior Capstone Project.
Students should plan for due dates and work to get all assignments submitted prior to the due dates.

Copies of all rubrics and information on grading for the course
In addition to this site, students will have specific expectations and tasks, organized into 4 "modules", that will be made available to students through your advisor's BRVGS online site(Google Classroom).
