The College & Career Readiness Team is continuing to build a comprehensive program designed to help students explore their interests and connect them to future career opportunities through career assessments, career discovery events, guest speakers, and hands-on learning experiences. The team is also working to strengthen partnerships with local businesses, colleges, and community organizations to provide students with real-world exposure and practical insight into potential careers. With a focus on how to encourage curiosity, connect students to real-world experiences, and provide guidance, the program empowers students to make informed decisions about their academic and career goals.
Our goals for the 25-26 school year consist of:
By March 2026, we will identify and plan 3-5 activities to implement at the middle school level regarding career exploration in the 26-27 school year.
By May 2026, we will have documented our 26-27 schedule for ACP activities at the middle and high school.
By May 2026, we have developed an organized job shadowing program to be implemented in the 26-27 school year.
