On or near their birthday, your child will get to be the the Star Student! A poster and a letter with specific instructions will come home before your child's turn to be Star Student. Completing the poster is a family activity and parents, siblings, or other family members are encouraged to help. Your child will also need help choosing 4-6 items to share when it is their turn to be Star Student. We can't wait to learn more about our friends in class!

Lucky Duck of the Day 🦆
Each day I will randomly select a student to be the Lucky Duck of the Day. The Lucky Duck will help assist me with some of our daily routines. They will help lead the pledges, help lead the daily poem, be the line leader, select a read aloud book, among other tasks as needed. Students love the opportunity to "be in charge" and help the teacher lead class routines. I find it helps build student's confidence and most importantly it's fun!
