New and changed features in BRP Cloud

GA 2021.50 (release late December)

• Back Office: when You click a order in Booking->Orders, the debit status on the bookings is now always showing (previously it was only showing when the view was expanded)

• Time Reporting: added a control list that is a summarized view for an employee. A New button called "Control list" was added under Approve Time Reports->Time Report.

• Resource Planner: added the possibility to add item package on a service booking. To access the menu option You click the service booking, then click the button with three dots and then choose "add item package".

• Back Office: added an eye-icon on the product field in Booking->Bookings->Base Information. Clicking the icon will open the product-view for the chosen product.

• Possibility to deny passage due to invalid covid pass (will be added to both GA2021.41 and GA2021.50).

• Back Office: improved performance on “Accrual debt per date” and “Accrual per debit” views.

• Resource Planner: when clicking on a service booking in Resource Planner, a new menu item called "add supplement service" will appear. When it is clicked it will open a dialogue that shows supplement service products that can be added to the selected service booking.

• Extended the integration towards the Clock (Property Management System) with multiple enhancements: added possibility to find the room number based on the card/wristband, added possibility to change customer name in Clock, added ability to pay with Clock by specifying folionumber, added the possibility to move debt to a new card/wristband if the customer lost it.

• Business Intelligence: it is now possible to view Qlik Sense reports embedded within BRP Cloud.

• Resource Planner: added weekly and monthly view. This was present in BRP Classic and is now also available in BRP Cloud. 

• In BackOffice there is a new view for waiting list services (BackOffice->Bookings). This was present in BRP Classic and is now also available in BRP Cloud. Read more here.

• Added the possibility to configure an administration fee on a subscription product. The administration will then be added when invoicing. Read more here.

• Point of Sale: during registration of multiple cards/wristbands the cancel button now cancels all registration and then closes the dialogue (previously you had to close all remaining cards/wristbands).

• Resource Planner: added the possibility to  take a customer to Point of Sale even though there is no unpaid bookings for that customer.

• Some minor enhancements on "variable product". Updated documentation here.

• Subscriptions and value cards with many users is now easier to overview and administrate thanks to a better listing. The list can be sorted on all columns. 

• Added the possibility to control time between card readings in a similar way as time between passages. Read more here.

• BRP Configuration: in the detailed view of rights, there is now a new list of products that gives the rights that you currently looking at.

• If "automatic cancellation of noshows" is set to true for a group activity, then the "release noshows" button will be disabled in order to prevent staff to release all noshows by mistake.

• Changed text on Swedish receipts from "Kundens kopia" to "Kundens exemplar" and from "Butikens kopia" to "Butikens exemplar".

• Entrance view: added red color coding on information showing that subscriptions or value cards are outdated in order for customers to notice the information more.

• Entrance view: added information on value cards on a customer (previously only information on subscriptions was showing).

• Entrance view: added sound settings where it is possible to enable/disable sounds for successful passage, failed passage and important messages individually. 

• Point of Sale: added a button printing a receipt copy from "previous purchases". Click on a row to enable the button.

• Configuration: added a button for test of a printout on a receipt printer.

• Customer web: there is now possibility to override the default text on the signature header (used on the e-mail confirmation sent to the customer). The two new settings is found under "customer web" category (in settings.)

• Presentation of Notices in market activity will now remove all html code. It also means that if the field is edited and saved the html is also removed from the database so it will get harder to find out exactly what was sent to the customer. Reason for this was that the notice was hard to read when the HTML-code was visible.

• If there is a card reader connected to the client then CTRL+F3 now will bring up the card information window directly instead of having to click the card icon first.

• There are now free-text search fields for facilities, registers and kiosks in order to make it easier to find what you are looking for in larger installations.

• Point of Sale: when selling a subscription there is now support for change of customer during the process. When payer customer differs from the active customer, Point of Sale will ask if you want to change to the payer customer (this is now the same behaviour as in BRP Classic).

• Service bookings: when booking a repeating service there will now only be sent one notification (email/text) to the customer instead of one for each occasion as previously. This notification will have information on all occurrences.

• Some improvements in the SafePay-integration and also better handling of note changing.

• Added Gantner GT7-support for keeping the relay open on the times defined.  This means that doors controlled by GT7 can now be open according to predefined schedule.

• Camera dialogue (on the person card) is now disconnecting the camera after a picture is taken and the dialogue is closed (the web browser previously indicated that it was still in use).

• Resource Planner: a person without rights to attend a class can no longer be added to the waiting list (this was previously possible due to a bug).

• Participants on the waiting list are now automatically moved to the class/booking if number of slots on the booking is increased.

• Added a wizard that updates mandates from (AGU7) file (this was present in BRP Classic and is now also available in BRP Cloud).

• Added the statistics-view "sales per product group" to Back Office->statistics (this was present in BRP Classic and is now also available in BRP Cloud).

• Fixed a bug on time reporting that showed employees from companies other than the current one when attesting time reports. Now only the employees in the current company is showing.

• Point of Sale: pressing CTRL+F6 will set the last active customer (in the register) as active again.

• Configuration: added the possibility to schedule updates of postal codes.

• Added language support for Nets Easy.

• Time reporting: added filter for state on export time reports in order to easier be able to select all approved (for example).

• ExorLive-integration: added a setting to choose between sending ID or customer number when sending data to Exorlive.

GA 2021.41 (released 20211102)

• Added the setting allowSaleOfProductWithoutPrice in order to be able to stop online sales of products with expired prices. 

• Added the possibility to  set digital signature on facility level (on products). Setting underskriftRequiredForMembershipPeriod can be set to false on facilities/companies to skip signature when buying products connected to membership periods.

• Added new setting shrinkPersonImageInEntranceView in order to be able to shrink a persons picture in entrance view. Range is 0-100 and corresponds to percentage of the original size.

• Mailchimp-integration: added continuous update of a persons region so that region in Mailchimp always matches the one in BRP.

• Added a new message template called Guest Information to message templates (Configuration module - > Settings -> Messages). It is possible to get the message template from API3.

• Added support for german and thai languages in translatable fields and message templates. 

• Fixed bug with regional cards. BRP did not grant access on entrance in another facility than the ordinary due to wrong logic with membership.

• Resource Planner: added a new property for resource booking template called Number of participants (Class) that can be used to display participant count information for classes in Resource Planner (i.e. "9/10 participants").

• Added a new setting called skipPersonInWaitingList which controls whether a person will be skipped (and keep the place in the queue) or removed on the waiting/reserve list, when the systems fails to book the person due to booking rules. 

• Added a new follow up point which sends reminders to customers with unpaid overdue invoices after X number of bank days (where X is customizable).

• Added support for Croatian fiscalization (fisver) in BRP Cloud (changes on invoices, receipts and support for control unit). 

• BRP Backoffice: when searching for a (swedish) personal identity number WITH hyphen (yymmdd-xxxx), BRP now only searches for personal identity numbers and no other fields on person are searched. This will result in faster searches and and more accurate results (previously the hyphen was removed and personal identity number could match part of phone number and therefore give matches that were not relevant).

• BRP Point of Sale: added the possibility to create a new customer from the select orderer dialog when creating a value card. In this dialog there is now a button for "create new person".

• Added a new system access right called "Module - BRP Backoffice (restricted to Time reporting)". As a user with this right You only have access to Staff and Resources > Time report.

• When selecting resources in the multiselect dialog for a resource requirement of the product, the facility of the resource is now showing in parenthesis behind the resource (migrated from BRP Classic to BRP Cloud).

• Customer type is automatically set to YOUTH if a members age is below or equal to the value of the setting YouthUpperAgeLimit.

• Booking kiosk: when a user chooses to log out or is automatically logged out from the kiosk, the visit/passage/workout will be undone. This behaviour can be controlled by a setting called kioskUndoPassageOnLogOut and is default set to false. 

• Refunding an entry in Point of Sale will also regret the passage created during the initial purchase.

• Support for Exorlive in BRP Cloud. Added a new button on the person card which opens a new tab with the exorlive system. When the button is pressed the customer will be created in Exorlive and if the person already exists in Exorlive the information will be updated instead.

• Design enhancements in Self Service Station with new and improved UX. It is now also possible to add and display images for products.

• Product options/variations/attributes. A new product has been added (API only) and it handles different types of attributes. Typical use-case is to sell items with different sizes, flavours, colours etc without having to create one product for each attribute.  Example: Protein powder as one product with three different sizes/prices as attributes. • Allow hours and minutes on cancellation policies instead of just days.

• Possibility to open booking- and subscriptions-view on a member from entrance view.

• Added support for Safepay in Point of Sale. 

• Resource Planner: when creating a new order with an existing order opened, instead of having to search for the orderer/customer BRP suggests using the same orderer/customer as in the existing order. 

• Improved error messages when user login fails. Instead of just Unable to logon there will now be one of the following: Incorrect username or password,  User is blocked,  User is missing rights for this module ,  User does not have the right to login or is not using a whitelisted ip-adress.  

• In BRP Cloud it is now possible on a role to specify a list of roles it is allowed to assign employees. To allow all roles (including any roles that may be added in the future) use the checkbox "Can assign all roles". 

• Added two new endpoints in API3 for listing/setting own defined parameters: /api/ver3/owndefinedparameters (List/Get) and /api/ver3/customers/$customer/owndefinedparametervalues (CRUD).

• Added sorting possibility in the view where kiosk clients are being configured. Sorting is possible on both clientname and description columns. 

• Added sorting possibility in the view where Point of Sale-clients are being configured. Sorting is possible on columns clientname, description and register.

• A new filter called "product group" has been added to the "sales per person" view (Back Office->Statistics->Sales per person) so that it is possible to also filter on product groups.

• Added an expand button on several dialogues so that the dialogue can be increased in size when button is clicked. This way readability increases. 

GA 2021.33 (released 20210819)

• Market tab on person has been optimized to load faster when there are a lot of market activities. 

• Added support for booking products with negative amount in Resource Planner in order to be able to create packages with lower price than the sum of all the containing products. Note that it is still not possible to sell packages with negative amounts in Point of Sale. 

• BRP Cloud / Person -> Finance -> EFT Authorization create: it is now possible to paste account numbers containing hyphens and/or blank spaces (they are removed and only digits are then being pasted). 

• Added API towards JustFace, a service that uses face recognition to let gym employees know  who is in their gyms. 

• Added the possibility to send e-mail or SMS (based on predefined message templates) to all participants when a class is cancelled. 

• BRP Cloud: added three new columns on the subscription part of the person card; start, payer and facility. They can all be shown/hidden (they existed in Classic but not in Cloud) and needs to be activated/enabled by clicking the columns button. 

• When exporting sales for Norway (SAF-T/Norwegian Cash Register Systems Act) from the event log, there is now filter is now a day range (start date and end date) instead of just a single day. 

• Fixed a bug that could cause incorrect membership information on a person. This could cause Mailchimp to have wrong information on active/inactive memberships. 

• BRP Back Office Persons / Person list: The classic "mobile phone" column has been renamed to just "phone" in BRP Cloud, because it can contain multiple phone numbers of different types. A new "mobile phone" column has been added in BRP Cloud. It uses the format +46xxxxxxxx. 

• Different performance enhancements in BRP Cloud; when exporting lots of persons, when copying a lot of rows, when exporting a lot of time reports, when searching in account transactions, general improvements on all search fields. 

• BRP Cloud / Point of Sale: the register switches to the start page after completed purchase (same behaviour as in BRP Classic).

• Added some export templates in BRP Cloud that existed in BRP Classic: Statistics for Lets Deal, Converted Tryouts, and an export template for showing personal resources with no future bookings. 

• Fixed a bug with the setting minimum time between passages. In some scenarios BRP allowed for multiple consecutive passages when it should not allow it (the setting controls how long time should pass between approved passages from the same card). 

• Added Nets Easy as payment provider for Internet purchases (more info about Nets Easy here).  

• Added a new statistics view for coupon codes in BRP Cloud (existed in BRP Classic). 

• Added description-field for client settings.

• Actiway integration now handles purchase of value cards with amount type PRESENTKORT (instead of previously only product type KLIPPKORT). 

• Weekly planning is now available in BRP Cloud (migrated from BRP Classic). This view will show the number of occurrences per week for products. Used for planning group activities for example so different classes are evenly placed during the week. Resides under Back Office->Booking->Weekly planning. 

• It is now possible to write card information for locker using GATAccess 6100B in BRP Cloud (could potentially make an old GATWriter obsolete).  

• Added possibility to cancel service bookings via BRP web generation 3. A refund to the customer should be made via the payment provider used for the original payment. 

• BRP Cloud / Configuration: the search field on products can now search for bar codes.

• Order panel in Resource Planner can now show prices ex VAT if setting showPricesWithTax is set to no.

• BRP Cloud / Back Office now handles danish person numbers when searching for persons.
