Original Logo Design
Artist: Laurie Tamayo '25
Going into this logo design, I knew I wanted to intertwine themes of education and human-to-human connection, emphasizing the dependence of the former on the latter for a student’s success. From this, the idea of placing conversing figures atop a book was borne; behind them, the tree is meant to represent the growth that will be fostered through interactive, collaborative learning. Each element relies on another— none can exist without all. The Bridge Scholars Program is about access, empowerment, about community. To successfully broaden opportunities to a meaningful education across lines of race, class, creed, and on, we hope to build an environment that is welcoming and encouraging to the youth who join us.
