Brookville is lucky enough to have many military families in our community. As families deal with deployments and relocation, Brookville Elementary staff is always there to support our students! Please reach out to Mrs. Storie (School Counselor and Military Family Liaison) at storien@brookvilleschools.org if there are specific needs we can assist with. 

At Brookville Elementary during the 2025-2026 year we have a current total of 77 students who are military connected with at least one parent/guardian who identifies as active duty, reserves, national guard or veteran statuses. This is just about 15% of our building.

Brookville Elementary School was awarded the Purple Star Designation from the Ohio Department of Education in April 2022 for the first time. This was renewed in April 2025 for another 3 years. The Purple Star Award recognizes schools that show a major commitment to students and families connected to our nation’s military.
