Citizens Scholarship
My name is Sara Edwards and I am a relationship manager with Citizens located in St Joseph, MO. For the past several years I have worked with Financial Aid Administrators at your Colleges and University in Iowa and now am expanding that outreach to High School Counselors. Citizens offer a variety of ways to ensure students and their families stay well informed as they prepare for the next step in their high school and college journey. As part of our commitment to financial literacy and wellness, below are a few resources we offer through our College Bound Citizens program.
College Bound Citizens – Made Ready for College Site
As your students and their families begin exploring all the information available, they can start right here. This site provides valuable information to get them started and to ensure they understand all that goes into making such an important decision. We have even included some short videos to make learning fun.
Citizens Sessions™ - Ready to Get Answers virtual financial literacy series
Each month we offer different topics with rotating dates to make it more accessible for both students and their families so they can attend together. Anyone interested can enter here to learn more, or to register for one or more sessions.
Citizens Scholarship*
The Citizens Scholarship awards a monthly prize of $2,500 and a grand prize of $15,000; with no essay required. Both students and their parents/sponsors can enter*! We are also very proud to announce that we recently launched a Minority scholarship prize of $2,500 to be awarded on a quarterly basis.
