We created collages in the style of Andy Warhol with a focus on strong contrasts. We used repeated imagery to experiment with different colour combinations on a tile effect, commonly linked to Pop Art.
In this lesson we will carry out research about the artist Roy Lichtenstein and his contribution to Pop Art. We should be able to distinguish the differences in style between Lichtenstein and Warhol and learn about the different techniques used in his work, including the use of speech and text.

How would you describe the colours and patterns?
Watch the two videos to find out more about the life and work of Roy Lichtenstein including his painting style and techniques used.
