Bright Ideas Time Strategies:

In the video below Dr Sarah Frodsham talks to Jenn Gadd about 'Bright Ideas Time' strategies and how they can be adopted by both in-service and pre-service teachers. These strategies are promoted through the Initial, Teacher Training programme, at Oxford Brookes University.

If you would like to know more about the TDTS strategies go to Explorify or the Think, Doing and Talking website .

Mike Dennis (mentioned in the video above as the author of the connections grid) is pictured on the left introducing Initial Teacher Training Students at Oxford Brookes to the wonders of Science via practical prompts for thinking activities.

Mike, who is the retired manager of Science Oxford, talks about how Helen Wilson, at Oxford Brookes University, had been a big influence on his teaching practice in a recent article (see the Primary Science Journal, Nov/Dec 2020).
