Exploring and Exemplifying Creativity with Primary Science Trust Teaching fellows

This project illustrates of a series of science lessons which were designed to communicate excellent creative practice. It is anticipated that it will help teachers appreciate:

i. what creative practice looks like, and

ii. how creative their students can be.

Each of the cases studies illustrates a lesson taught by Primary Science Teaching Award (PSTA) teacher.

Illustrations of professional scientists perspectives to be creative (and inspirational) in and out of the science classroom.

THIS SITE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Funded by the Primary Science Teaching Trust (PSTT) this project was designed to help teachers appreciate what creative practice looks like from the trained scientists perspective. This will be achieved by considering: i. What appears to have motivated scientists to want to become a scientist? ii. What school experiences (primary, secondary and as an undergraduate) have influenced them wanting to become scientists? iii. What kinds of life experiences (from outside school) appeared to influence them becoming a scientist? iv. And finally, what scientists say schools could pay more attention to
