Online marking & feedback

On-line marking and feedback has a wide range of proven practical and pedagogic benefits. For example:

Students can:

• remain anonymous where anonymous marking applies
• access their feedback at a time and place which suits them, and in the same location online as their original submission

Tutors can:

• access student work at a time and place which suits them
• avoid carrying around heavy loads of paper
• use Turnitin originality reports to detect plagiarism and instances of poor referencing (subject to the Faculty Policy on the use of Turnitin)
• easily identify how many, and which, students have accessed their feedback
