We are developing a Virtual Reality (VR) experience for diabetes education, to be delivered within Oxford Brookes University’s VR Cave Automatic Virtual Environment (CAVE). The VR-CAVE is a room where immersive 3D images are projected onto three walls, which you will be able to view using 3D glasses (see below). The CAVE can also track your movement as you navigate through the VR environment, so that the perspective and view of objects changes with you.
We are seeking individuals with diabetes who are willing to travel to the Oxford Brookes University Wheatley Campus to try this new VR experience. The study will take 2.5 hours and participants will be offered £75 of Amazon vouchers for their assistance. Travel expenses will also be reimbursed, up to £25. The timing of your visit will be arranged to suit your availability.
