Creating a 5 minute city 

In the session we looked at the concept of building  a city where everything was within 5 minutes distance. 

We worked in teams to design and create mini models considering all the elements needed and what would make the area sustainable.

All the groups came up with their own ideas and concepts which included different structures and ways to be sustainable.

If you wanted to be an engineer and work on housing projects would it be helpful to understand ideas around built environment and sustainability? 

When considering where to live could some of these ideas impact upon the location and type of building you choose?
