This page will include the slides from the student finance presentation.
This session addressed the concern you expressed in your Brookes Engage Applications.
Please take some time to revise the slides and explore the links provided
One of the big concerns that you highlighted to us was around finance and having enough to be able to study.
There is lots of support out there for you that you can apply for depending what university you are thinking of going to. The difficulty is you have to find it yourself, so research is going to be your best friend.
Check different universities websites and look at their bursaries, scholarships and financial aid. You can even speak to their advice team if you aren't sure and want to have a conversation with someone.

Part time work
To support yourself and give you additional income you can look to get a part time job. Having a part time job will mean you need to manage your time effectively but could also make you a little more comfortable financially and allow you to budget less strictly.
Many universities employ students ambassadors who work flexible contracts to support different projects and events. This is a great opportunity to earn extra money and have flexibility in the hours you work.
If you already have a part time job can you get a transfer during term time to allow you to retain your job while as university and when you go home over the holidays.
Try to collate a CV ahead of coming to university if you want to look for a job so you can take up any opportunities as they come.
