Te Ika ā Māui Story

Our group worked together to retell the story of 'Te Ika ā Māui'. First we decided what pictures we wanted to draw from the story and then Phoenix recorded his voice on the iPad. After that we put the pictures and audio together to make a movie. Finally, Mila, Ayden and Siosaia worked together to make a backing track to add to our story movie.

'Kia ora! Autumn and I drew some pictures from 'Te Ika ā Māui' and then Phoenix recorded the story. I loved drawing the pictures of Māui because I think he's pretty cool.' By Ayden

'I retold the story by thinking about each part of the story and then recording my voice on my iPad. Then we put my voice recording with the pictures and music to make our story video.' By Phoenix

'I made a song for our story video on Garage Band with my friends Ayden and Siosaia. I liked choosing the different music and it was my idea to put the ocean sound at the start.' By Mila
