Introduction
Students read The Slave Ship: A Human History by Marcus Rediker and analyse the book through three main themes: power, race, and human suffering and resilience. Students then design and create a project that evaluates a series of questions pertaining to one of the three themes. The project includes a written response and a creative visual component.
