Our regular Tag & Tester guy Lovleen will be onsite on Friday night between 5pm and 7pm.
If you need to use any electrical equipment with a cord/cable and a plug above 50V, it needs to be tested and tagged. This includes cord sets, extension leads, and USB wall plugs. Check with him if you have any doubts.
Grab a Testing Bag from the Event Desk.
Write your name on the attached label.
Leave it in the Electrical Marshalling Area.
We all have similar cords nowadays, and it helps the process greatly if Lovleen can simply grab the next bag, test and tag each item in a bag, put them back in the bag and move on, rather than having to try and manage piles of cords. This ensures none get mixed up.
This also allows Lovleen to make notes on the bag should any item fail a test.
It also means that rather than having to leave piles of test cords at the Event Desk overnight, we can identify them and the Crew can get them returned to your table Friday night, ready for you in the morning.
A new, more structured process that proved itself at Chandler this year.
Less stress on Lovleen. Less stress on you.
All relevant items need to be tagged.
If you are bumping in Saturday morning or are unsure if you'll make it until late Friday night, it's your responsibility to either have the items tested and tagged externally or organise with another Participant to get it to the EMA in time for Lovleen.
BrisBricks pays the testing fee for each item, so please ensure the items you submit for testing are for use at BBX2026, and not just using this as a chance to get external items checked. Thanks.
