Brimfield High School Academic Challenge (ACES) Team
The Academic Challenge in Engineering and Science (ACES) is a series of in-person high school competitions organized by the School of Extended Learning at Eastern Illinois University with assistance from many partner institutions throughout Illinois and Missouri.
Subjects tested are biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering graphics, English, mathematics, and physics. The tests, presented in a multiple-choice format, are designed to challenge the brightest high school students with material drawn from high school senior and college freshman curricula to present a bridge between secondary and higher education. Each student will have 40 minutes to complete tests ranging from 30 to 80 questions.

Last school year, our team received 1st place in the Regional, 2nd place in the Sectional, and 4th place in the State competition!
