Self-Study Modules

It is recommended practice that new interveners attend the Weekend Intervener Training Series that is provided by the Minnesota DeafBlind Project and Minnesota Low Incidence Projects.

If hiring occurs after the 4th weekend in the training series, it is recommended that these onboarding modules be accessed in conjunction with support from the Minnesota DeafBlind Project education specialist, Ann Mayes (ann.mayes@brightworksmn.org). 

School districts may want to consider building in time during the intervener's work day to complete self-study modules which are available on the National Center on Deaf-Blindness's website.  Links are provided below.
