Science and Social Studies
For science and social studies, Mrs. Miller and I team teach. This way, 2nd and 3rd grade students have the opportunity to interact with each other. I will be teaching science, and Mrs. Miller will teach social studies. They will rotate between our two classes daily so they will be getting each subject twice a week. During our Science rotations, we will be covering both 2nd and 3rd grade state standards. These topics include Motion and Matter, Life Structures, Solids, Liquids, and Gasses, Pebbles, Sand, Silt, Water and Climate, and Insects & Plants. We are blessed to have a great curriculum that includes a complete supply of lab and experiment materials. I am super excited to have students dig into these hands on lessons!
