In math, we use the Into Math curriculum by Houghton Mifflin. As third graders, we will work on several skills. Some of the concepts we will cover include multi-digit addition, subtraction, and multiplication. We will learn geometry concepts, money, and basic fraction ideas. One of the most important skill your students will begin working on this year is their multiplication facts. These are important, as many of the fourth grade and beyond standards will require them to know these facts.
Your student will receive a math assignment almost every night. Some nights might include fact practice as well. Below are a few resources that your student can use to practice his or her math skills.
