Consumer Science and Life Skills 6th, 7th, and 8th
My name is Ryan Caughman. This is my first year at Bridges. This will be my 23rd year in Education. I was born and raised in Clinton, SC. I spent the majority of my career teaching and coaching at Clinton High School. I have taught just about everything in the Social Studies curriculum at one time or another. My main focus was usually in United States History and Government/Economics. My last 3 years at Clinton High School, I was allowed to develop a curriculum called Real Life 101. It was intended to be a bridge from high school to adulthood. I plan to use many of these concepts when teaching these courses.
My wife and I have lived in Greeley, Colorado for the past two years. We enjoyed our time living in Greeley, but we are excited to be moving back to South Carolina. My wife Crystal will be working as a Teacher's Assistant in Elementary School here on campus. We have three children, Austin (23), Catelyn (21), and Madison (19), and two French Bulldogs Ivy and Gizmo. I enjoy watching college football... Go Gamecocks! I enjoy reading motivational books, spending time outside, and exercising. I am excited to be part of the Bridges Community!Â
