After the 1st draft of the short script is complete, we will then take it into a thorough process of refinement known as Drafting. This process will focus on 4 main elements of the screenplay that will help improve the script in regards to:
Using the short script as a starting point, we will begin to translate the ideas of the short into the beginning portion of a Feature Film known as the 1st Act. The 1st Act details the Set Up of the story, its characters and character dynamics, and the fundamental conflicts that the protagonist will encounter along their journey. It will focus on the skills of articulating and beefing up:
We will dive into a thorough peer review Workshop that will intricately evaluate and interrogate the internal logic and narrative fluidity of the 1st Act and how well it leads into the inevitable entry into the 2nd Act, or, New World. This procedure will utilize the accumulated critical and social-emotional skills of:
