Trustee Vacancy

Are you looking for a new challenge? Have you considered school governance? The Brickfields Trust currently comprises four fantastic primary schools including Great Wakering and Barling Magna in the Rochford district, and Kings Road and Lawford Mead in Chelmsford.

We have a dedicated Board of Trustees with a blend of professional skills and experience, and together we’re responsible for;

• strategic leadership of the academy trust: the board defines the trust vision for high quality and inclusive education in line with its charitable objectives.

• accountability and assurance: including the provision of education, pupil welfare, and ensuring appropriate use of funding/effective financial performance as well as keeping estates safe and well-maintained.

• engagement: the board has strategic oversight of relationships with stakeholders including parents, schools and communities.

We are currently looking to expand our team through the recruitment of new trustees.  We are interested in team players with the following skills:

o   Finance and Accounting

o   Human Resources
