Welcome from our CEO

January 2026

Welcome to The Brickfields Trust, a family of four primary schools, located in Essex.  It is my pleasure to introduce myself to you as the new Chief Executive Officer and a privilege to lead Brickfields into its next phase, to ensure we deliver an exceptional education for every child in our care.

The Brickfields values of ‘Excellence, Collaboration and Opportunity’ drive all that we do.  I am struck by the hard work and dedication shown by children and staff across our trust, and by the support given by our families – I welcome you to take a look at our trust and school websites where you can see this for yourself.

Over the coming months I am looking forward to working with all of our children, families, staff and community partners to understand the diverse views and perspectives within our school communities.  In all of our schools – Barling Magna, Great Wakering, King’s Road and Lawford Mead – ensuring high quality teaching and learning for every child is our top priority.  To do this we ensure that we nurture a culture of continuous improvement, where every member of staff can develop professionally and thrive.
