SAT scores are only a measure of intelligence and wealth. Although this exam are deemed as important in exhibiting the competency of a student, and the future collegiate success that they may have or may not have, the exam fails to represent those students that have a variety of abilities, many test-day variables can affect the accuracy of the exam, and the availability and access to the test and preparation materials is not equally spread to everyone that may be applying for college and scholarships. Through examining these points, it can be concluded that SAT scores are not the most ideal way to evaluate ones' intelligence, and are very overvalued in today's education systems.
What exactly does the SAT measure? Watch the presentation below:

Being injured in my sport is a huge deal to me and super upsetting. Baseball is very important to me and I want to play as long as I possibly can. So discussing why I might always be injured and coming to a resolution may help me. I feel that other people get injured all the time and affects their sport so people can relate to how i'm feeling and connect it to themselves. Through what I find the message or lesson may be to relax take a deep breath and listen to your body when it tells you it's hurting. When you try and push through injuries things just get worse.

I want to show how basketball has affected my everyday life and how it continues to help me destress. Basketball can do more than just provide a pastime, it can distinguish what type of person you are. Your playstyle can show how different you are as a person that someone who claims to play a different way. The game doesn't define you, but how you play can describe you.

Over one's personal life span, the idea of you being in the center of your life seems to decrease as you get older. The idea of sonder may be introduced in different time periods to different people. Sonder is explained as acknowledging the people you see on a daily basis are also fighting and going through the idea of life. As you go more in depth with sonder you realize that empathy may be introduced and may be talked about with the same purpose. Empathy is explained by the dictionary as “ the ability to understand and share the feeling of another '' Having a good understanding of both sonder and empathy may be classified as having good knowledge about the good characteristics that can make up a person. As teenergers, by understanding the true meaning of empathy and sonder can change the perspective on how you view people and/or situations. As high schoolers especially one that goes to school with 600 other people, knowing you are not the only one that is going through the stages of life, stages of not knowing what to do in life, going through tough physical and mental health.

My statement of purpose is to have people become more aware of an athletes mental health. Mental health for anyone can be a big problem but for my talk I will talk about an athletes mental health because I'm very close to the topic. I feel like talking about it and getting into the issues and how other people are effected by it would change peoples minds and have them stop thinking that any athlete is a perfect person and has a good life because is very untrue. Also my purpose for my talk about this issue because maybe other athletes will feel the same way or maybe they would have a different opinion.
