Review the result of the Primary Data (created in-class) Eg. Is/Is Not & Four Corners
Review the results of the Secondary Data: survey from G9 BHX participants from previous years - Identify 3+ pieces of data or quotations from the survey.
Explain (in your own words) why these pieces of information are important
Explain why you think that personal organization is important. How will this product help me? How will this product help be more responsible?

Essential Idea: Bags (school bags) are designed with a specific function in mind. This does not always perfectly suit the specific needs of all users.
Empty your backpack onto an open desk or space on the floor.
Arrange every item following an eye-catching organizational pattern
Take a clear photo of this "Gear Splash"
Follow instructions on the Slide to analyze the "Gear Splash".
Suggest improvements or additions to your backpack which would make it more functional for your Everyday Carry items.

Day 2 (80minutes)
A3: Analyze Existing Products
Essential Idea: Designers analyze exisiting designs in order to learn about how to approach a challenge.
Take a clear set of photos of the items you would like to carry
Take 2 Photos (examples on Slide):
"Gear Splash" photo
Small packed-down-size photo
Annotate the PARTS and PURPOSE of items in the “Gear Splash” and measure the small arrangement
Suggest key features (COMPLEXITIES) of your Everyday Carry bag based on the items in your “Gear Splash”
