Heather Grattan has worked as a School Counselor at Walsh Intermediate for 27 years.  Prior to being a School Counselor she worked as a Childcare Worker at The Italian Home for Children in Jamaica Plain.  She received the  Massachusetts Childcare Worker of the year award in 1993.  She then became a Teacher at Dearborn Academy, a Therapeutic day school in Arlington, MA.  Upon Graduation from UMASS, Boston with her M.ED in School Counseling she accepted the job of School Counselor at Walsh.  She loves being a part of the community and takes pride in knowing that she is now working with children of her former students.   She resides in Guilford with her husband John and son Shane. She loves to hike, read and cook.
